With her unique movement and style, Kim has evolved into an exciting performer, teacher and choreographer. She enjoys sharing her journey through dance with her students.
Her performance credits both in the USA and Internationally are extensive. (Available upon request.) Kim has Choreographed with Jermaine Browne, Deborah Cox and Crystal Waters, Michele Assaf and Jason Parsons. She has been featured for her choreography in “Dance Teacher Magazine” as piece of the month in 2014. Kim has participated in the International Dance Meeting in Italy. Kim has won numerous awards and recognition for her choreography. Her students have received high score awards at both regional, state and national competitions such as American Dance Alliance, American Dance Awards, Dance Educators of America, Legacy, National Dance Association, New York City Dance Alliance and NUVO. Kim received in 2016 the “ Soaring Eagle Award” for her outstanding teaching, leadership and commitment to North Broward Preparatory School. Kim began her teaching career in New Jersey at In the Spotlight; under the direction of Tom Karaty and Candice Mancini.. While working at PACE Center for Girls she began to fuse her MSW with her love and knowledge of movement through the art of dance. She was the Director of the Dance Department at the North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, FL for over 9 years. She continues to teach at Realdance, the IB Dance programme at North Broward and she travels choreographing and setting pieces on both the collegiate and high school level dance teams. Kim has most recently begun teaching an honors dance class at her Alma Mater, Cardinal Gibbons High School, and in the fall will begin a fulltime dance program at the school.
